Little millet a species of millet in the family poaceae. it is an annual herbaceous plant .little millet grain are smooth and round about to 1.8 – 1.9 mm long. in Telugu it called as SAMALU, in Hindi KUTKI, SHAVAN,in Tamil SAMAI,Little millet can be cooked like rice, and it is milled and baked and it contain protein about to 7.7%,calcium 17 mg,fat 4.7 gm energy 341 calories(100 gram servings )
